Accounts Payable Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk in Ascutney, Vermont. Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative and accounting support to the Accounting Department, ensuring efficiency in daily operations.
• Organize and maintain accurate records for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and other financial files.
• Process and reconcile accounts payable transactions with precision and timeliness.
• Input daily financial data into the accounting system, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and execute weekly accounts payable checks, adhering to company procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to address accounting-related tasks and provide assistance as needed.
• At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.• Proficiency in processing invoices, coding transactions, and performing check runs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle data entry with accuracy.
• Familiarity with invoice reconciliation and financial recordkeeping.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and resolve issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
