STS Aviation Services is hiring Aircraft Interior Painters / Preppers in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is an opportunity to join a growing global MRO operation supporting aircraft interior refurbishment and finishing programs at one of the world’s most dynamic aviation hubs.

Position Overview

The Aircraft Interior Painter / Prepper is responsible for preparing and finishing aircraft interior components to the highest quality standards. This includes surface preparation, masking, primer application, basecoat and topcoat application, inspection, and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory procedures.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical skill, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all materials, tools, equipment, and documentation are prepared at the start of each shift
  • Perform paint preparation activities to approved aviation standards
  • Interpret and apply the latest revision drawings and masking requirements
  • Apply epoxy and filler primers as required
  • Apply basecoats and topcoats in accordance with work instruction sheets
  • Perform wet and dry paint thickness measurements and adhesion checks
  • Record inspection data accurately and completely
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures, health and safety regulations, and airport requirements
  • Maintain a Foreign Object Debris free work environment
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces before and after tasks
  • Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with customers and stakeholders
  • Stay current with Technical Notices, Quality Notices, and operational updates
  • Participate in required training programs
  • Follow the Safety & Quality Management Plan and workplace safety initiatives
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe and serviceable condition
Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong background in auto body repair and painting or equivalent technical training
  • Experience with fiberglass and composite filling and finishing techniques
  • Minimum of two years of aircraft painting and finishing experience
  • Experience in aircraft interior and exterior paint applications
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Basic English language proficiency
  • Ability to manage daily workload independently
  • Proactive, hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
