Our team is a diverse and nimble group that manages Apple’s retail stores, workplaces, and workplace services. We develop and manage Apple’s global real estate portfolio, lead all related capital construction projects, provide outstanding facilities and site services, develop and lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of all Apple facilities, including commute and renewable energy programs, and do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of all Apple personnel, facilities, and customers in our facilities around the world.<br><br>The NSO and Retail Projects team drives a vital connection between Apple Retail Stores and Global Retail Support. This team of project managers provide key operational support and retail expertise throughout a store’s key milestones. This includes the daily support of all AMR markets, the management and delivery of new locations, existing store improvements, backstage operations and initiatives, as well as future investment strategies.<br><br>We are seeking a highly motivated people leader with strong project management experience to mentor, motivate and further develop a team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.<br><br><strong>Description<br><br></strong>To be successful, this leader must be able to lead a team in a fast-paced environment, build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, and have a track record of aligning priorities, managing multiple work streams, and fostering collaboration. The manager will be able to work independently and as part of a larger cross-functional team, while demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact and influence all levels in the organization.<br><br>Equal parts strategist, leader, problem solver, and connector, the manager is focused on ensuring the best possible experience for our store teams and our Apple customers.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br></strong><ul><li>In this position you will: </li><li>
Be a key connector, communicator and advocate for the Apple retail stores and operations.</li><li>Develop and drive strategy and innovative processes to support projects types across retail development and expansion including new stores, existing store projects, retail initiatives and programs. </li><li>
Lead a team of project managers to deliver exceptional experiences, support and solutions for all project types throughout a stores lifecycle, as well as evergreen operational initiatives in the support of daily store operations. </li><li>Support Apple retail stores in standards, efficiencies, operations, design and initiatives related to the backstage environment.

Foster and develop collaborative relationships with corporate partners, field teams, and vendors globally to ensure delivery of the best possible experience to Apple Retail customers.

Assess and analyze projects to drive improvements and influence change from a process, cost, quality and communication perspective. </li><li>Manage change. Implement new ideas effectively within the Apple culture.</li><li>Drive the ongoing assessment of the existing fleet and future investment strategy. </li><li>Address escalations, quickly assess and develop root cause analysis and problem solutions for operational issues.<br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Qualifications<br></strong><ul><li>10+ years experience in a retail operations environment or retail expansion role.</li><li>Experience managing high performing teams in a dynamic environment and across multiple geographical locations.</li><li>Proven track record of handling complex/multi-faceted projects, delivering on key metrics to drive impact for the company.</li><li>

Proficient in written and spoken English.</li><li>Exceptional communication skills. </li><li>Ability to travel domestically and internationally 40-50%</li><li>BS/BA degree required<br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br></strong><ul><li>MBA or advanced degree is a plus</li><li>A dynamic self starter who thrives in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with passion for retail excellence. </li><li>Excellent decision quality with experience in planning and organizing.</li><li>

concurrently across many regions. </li><li>Comfortable with ambiguity and pivoting in an ever-changing environment.</li><li>Direct experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information with integrity.<br></li></ul><strong>Pay & Benefits<br><br></strong>At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $164,400 and $247,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.<br><br>Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
