Apparel Sourcing Agent – Children & Adult Pajamas

We are seeking an experienced apparel sourcing agent to help identify, vet, and coordinate manufacturers for premium children’s and adult pajama collections. This role is ideal for someone with strong factory networks, hands-on experience in soft goods manufacturing, and a deep understanding of quality standards for apparel sold in the U.S. market.

The initial focus is on sleepwear for babies, children, and adults, with the potential for long-term collaboration as new collections are developed.

Responsibilities

• Source and recommend qualified manufacturers for children’s and adult pajamas

• Identify factories capable of producing small to mid-sized MOQs

• Coordinate sampling, pricing, and production timelines

• Verify fabric options, workmanship quality, and finishing standards

• Assist with cost breakdowns and production feasibility

• Ensure factories can meet U.S. safety and compliance standards (especially for children’s apparel)

• Communicate clearly between brand and manufacturers throughout the sourcing process

Requirements

• Proven experience sourcing apparel or sleepwear, preferably for children and family apparel

• Existing relationships with factories (Asia, Europe, or other regions welcome)

• Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and production workflows

• Experience negotiating MOQs, pricing, and lead times

• Familiarity with U.S. market requirements for children’s clothing

• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and responsive
