<strong>The Army Aviation Program Financial Analyst: </strong>Performs monthly analysis and reporting of budget to actual revenue/cost/profit comparisons and identifies variance drivers.<br><br><ul><li>Five years' experience in a financial environment is preferred. </li><li>US Citizenship is Required to obtain the Secret Security clearance required for this opportunity. </li><li>Reviews expenses, GL accounts and invoices to ensure they are allowable and billable</li><li>Must be familiar with CLIN and Project set up to ensure proper charging on all travel related to the program</li><li>Ensures program costs are accurately collected by maintaining active charge numbers, monitoring actual charges, and processing transfers when appropriate. </li><li>Performs monthly analysis and reporting of budget to actual revenue/cost/profit comparisons and identifies variance drivers. </li><li>Conducts special studies to analyze financial actions and prepares recommendations for policies and procedures. </li><li>Interprets and applies policies, government legislation and accounting theories. </li><li>Ensures compliance with internal procedures and regulatory agencies. </li><li>Individual must be capable of forecasting cost information and predicting cost issues that need to be addressed with financial management team </li><li>Performs duties in support of Month End close Process, to include reconciliation of projects/accounts, review and analysis of monthly financial data, revenue entries and direct cost accruals. </li><li>Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as FAR, other government regulations, GAAP, and CAS requirements. </li><li>Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in an Accounting, Finance and/or related discipline is Required. Two (2) years' experience in analytical finance capacity or related field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college. </li><li>Five (5) years’ experience in a financial environment is preferred. Additional knowledge/skills may be required by contract or assignment. </li><li>Must be proficient in finance and accounting relational databases. </li><li>Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and General Accepted Accounting principles (GAAP) is Required. </li><li>Excellent decision making, problem solving, communication, and leadership skills</li><li>Knowledge of external platforms, such as: Workday and/or Costpoint are preferred. </li><li>Results oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills and must be able to work independently. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Security Clearance Requirements:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt. Secret Security Clearance. US Citizenship is Required to obtain a Secret Clearance, and for facility credentials and access and authorization to work at this facility. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional and Preferred Qualifications:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Provides interpretation of financial policies, governmental legislation, accounting theory or customer financial regulations. </li><li>Analyzes financial information especially concerning overhead to determine present and future financial performance of the SBU. </li><li>Acts as a liaison between program controls group and prepares comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgets. </li><li>Reviews complex financial data received from managers for inclusion in indirect and forward pricing rate packages submission to the government. </li><li>Makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies. </li><li>Develops plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements. </li><li>Coordinates, negotiates and resolves financial compliance issues with various agencies. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Working Environment:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Normal Office Environment<br><br></li></ul><strong>Compensation Details:<br><br></strong>85,000<br><br>The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
