Leveraging its strengths in large-scale fleet management, Avis Budget Group has entered into a strategic partnership with a leader in self-driving technology to launch and scale a fully autonomous ride-hailing service.

As an Auto Parts Coordinator, Autonomous Vehicles (“AV”), you will play a vital role in managing parts, tools, and materials needed to maintain the AV fleet. You will ensure inventory accuracy, efficient distribution, and compliance with company and partner standards.

What You’ll Do:

  • Receive, track, and manage incoming and outgoing parts, tools, and supplies used in AV maintenance activities

  • Maintain accurate records for shipping, indirect purchasing, and warranty returns

  • Execute daily inventory counts and support periodic inventory audits

  • Source, order, and distribute automotive and AV-specific components, including sensors, hardware, and charging equipment

  • Maintain proper binning, labeling, and organization of materials and tools

  • Partner with depot operations, fleet maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of required materials

  • Report low stock levels, discrepancies, and shipment delays promptly

  • Communicate with vendors regarding parts ordering, repair services, and shipping logistics

  • Prepare and update documentation and reports related to fleet service, supplies, and parts usage

  • Operate a forklift (where ) to transport and organize parts inventory

  • Maintain tire disposal and stocking areas in accordance with procedures

  • Maintain organized work areas and uphold depot cleanliness standards

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ year of experience in automotive parts management, inventory control, or warehouse operations

  • SAP experience preferred

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to accuracy and detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States

  • Successful completion of pre-employment qualification checks

  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, nights, or weekends as business needs require

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for up to 8 hours and lift a minimum of 30 lbs. with assistance

  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environments

  • This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
