Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
  • Manage POS systems (TOAST) for accurate order processing and cash handling
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving practices, including alcohol service limits
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of bar stations during shifts, including restocking supplies and garnishes
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for bills, tips, and change, utilizing retail math skills as needed
  • Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures during serving and preparation
  • Contribute to a lively atmosphere by supporting wine and beverage crafting activities when applicable

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with POS systems such TOAST for efficient order processing
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously during busy periods
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering, billing, and retail math calculations
  • Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus, demonstrating versatility across different service environments
  • Must be at least 18 years old with valid food handling certification if required by local regulations
