We are a purpose driven company dedicated to transforming lives through the science of food by supporting healthy living, building thriving communities, and caring for our planet. </p><p></p><p>For our Lübeck site in Germany we are searching for a:</p><p></p><p><b>Technical Service Account Manager Beverage</b></p><p></p><p>As Beverage Technical Service Account Manager, you will bring relevant technical knowledge to customer accounts, helping translate complex client needs into customized solutions. Acting as both a technical advisor and sales representative, the Technical Service Account Manager identifies growth opportunities, supports product customization, and builds trusted partnerships.</p><p></p><p>Our European Beverage Team works across all beverages - functional drinks, carbonated soft drinks, flavoured-waters, juices as well as tea and meal replacers– bringing sugar reduction, calorie reduction and mouthfeel solutions to our clients.</p><p></p><p><b>Tasks and responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Serve as a technical consultant for your accounts, understanding client needs to develop solutions that align with customer needs.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams (sales, category development, sensory, nutrition…), to support customers with the creation of tailored product solutions and concepts.</li><li>Present technical insights to customers, articulating the benefits and applications of solutions while addressing potential challenges and needs.</li><li>Proactively identify opportunities, leveraging comprehensive technical knowledge to illustrate the value of enhanced or additional offerings.</li><li>Support the sales process by contributing to customized sales strategies within the team, based on technical understanding and client requirements.</li><li>Maintain detailed records of account information, ensuring accuracy in customer information, needs and preferences for long-term relationship building, as well as formulations and testing records in our recipe management system.</li><li>Stay current on industry trends, ingredients and processing technologies</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications </b> </p><ul><li>A master’s degree in food science or related field</li><li>A minimum of 3-5 years in Beverage formulation gained from flavour houses</li><li>Knowledge of beverage formulation, emulsions, sweeteners, and functional ingredients is critical</li><li>Sensory capabilities are a plus</li><li>Knowledge of end-product analysis - including rheology</li><li>Customer focused and solution oriented in approach</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills</li><li>Pragmatic, analytical approach, ability to manage several projects and to adapt to changing business requirements</li><li>Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently</li><li>Fluency in English, written and spoken, and one other European language is essential</li><li>Experience of working with strict health and safety protocols in a laboratory environment is essential</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we can offer you</b></p><ul><li>A competitive salary</li><li>Bonus opportunity</li><li>Unlimited Contract</li><li>Holiday pay and 13th salary</li><li>55 € per month for a private pension plan</li><li>30 days annual leave</li><li>Flexible working hours</li><li>Job bike / company fitness</li><li>On-site canteen and free water, coffee, tea without end, as well as muesli and milk</li><li>Good free parking facilities</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>Are you interested?
