Business Operations Assistant

Our key client is a fully remote localization and translation agency based in Belgium, working with an international freelance network and a small internal core team. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a senior, hands-on Business Operations Assistant (or Office Manager) to support day-to-day operations across finance, projects, and internal processes. This role starts part-time (around 20 hours per week) and is expected to grow to 30–40 hours per week within 3–6 months as the business scales. Your Duties: As a Business Operations Assistant , you will be responsible for: • Support invoicing, payments, and accounting preparation using internal tools • Communicate with clients and vendors regarding invoices, payments, and operational questions • Assist with sales and marketing operations support for the Managing Director • Support operational and financial workflows under the Head of Project Management • Maintain and organize internal documentation in Notion • Handle general office and business operations tasks across the company • Support simple website updates, presentations, and light social media tasks when needed • Identify operational issues and proactively propose practical solutions • Lead assigned tasks and small operational projects independently Requirements • 5+ years of experience in business operations, office management, or a similar role • Strong ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision • Tech-savvy and solution-oriented mindset • Experience with internal accounting or billing tools (or strong ability to learn them quickly) • Confident working with Notion • Excellent written and spoken English (full professional proficiency) • Availability during CET business hours (between 9:00 and 18:00) • High attention to detail, especially for financial and operational tasks Nice to have: • Experience with accounting tools such as BILLIT.eu • Experience with translation or localization business tools (e.g. Protemos) • Experience working in fully remote, contractor-based teams Salary: €17This offer from "Gegidze" has been enriched by Jobgether.com and got a 79% flex score.
