Chief Financial Officer Job Description: Our CFO Advisory team is urgently looking to hire a fractional CFO to support our Technology client, 3-5 Days a week. Our client is a rapidly scaling early-stage Technology business at the forefront of transforming the global digital economy. We are looking to appoint a strong and experienced CFO to guide them through a time of immense change, growth and opportunity. The successful candidate will have a mandate to prepare the finance organisation for future global expansion, starting from the critical fundraising stage to global expansion within the next 12 months. Job Description: As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our client. You will have significant responsibilities to support the capital raise from global investors, with a focus on the US, Middle East, Europe, and Asia. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of raising capital and trusted relationships with leading investors in these markets. The successful candidate selected for this role must present evidence of the following: Responsibilities • • Capital Raising: • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive capital-raising strategies to secure multi-million funding targets. • Cultivate and leverage trusted relationships with global investors, including US, Middle East, Europe, and Asia, to secure investments. • Investor Relations: • Maintain and nurture existing investor relationships while actively seeking new strategic partners. • Communicate the company's financial performance, strategy, and vision to investors effectively. • Financial Strategy: • Collaborate with the executive team to refine and execute the financial strategy aligned with future growth objectives. • Provide financial insights and guidance to support decision-making. • Financial Governance: • Ensure financial compliance with regulatory requirements in multiple global markets. • Oversee financial reporting and transparency for investors and stakeholders. • Risk Management: • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with our business model and expansion plans. • Implement risk management practices to safeguard the company's financial stability. • Strategic Partnerships: • Seek out and assess strategic partnerships that can enhance the company's value proposition and accelerate growth. Requirements • • Experience: Proven experience in raising capital from global investors, with a focus on the US, Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Successful track record of closing deals in these markets. • Network: Extensive network of trusted relationships with leading investors in the specified regions. • Financial Expertise: Strong financial acumen, including financial strategy development, governance, and risk management. • Leadership: Ability to lead a dynamic finance team and contribute to overall company leadership. • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively. • Strategic Thinking: A strategic mindset with the ability to align financial strategies with business objectives. • Blockchain and AI: Familiarity with blockchain and AI technologies is a plus but not mandatory.
