Responsibilities Commercial General Liability (CGL) | Litigated Claims Are you an experienced liability claims professional who thrives in complex, high‑exposure files? If you enjoy analyzing coverage, partnering with defense counsel, and driving strategic claim resolutions, this is an opportunity to take your expertise to the next level. As a Complex Liability Adjuster, you’ll manage sophisticated Commercial General Liability (CGL) and Business Owners Policy (BOP) claims, including matters in active litigation. You’ll be trusted to make sound decisions, influence outcomes, and serve as a key contributor within a collaborative claims team.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end‑to‑end handling of complex CGL and BOP claims, from initial investigation through resolution
  • Manage litigated claims in partnership with defense counsel, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Analyze policy language, assess liability and damages, and develop strategic resolution plans
  • Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys while balancing risk, exposure, and cost
  • Maintain thorough, accurate claim documentation in compliance with regulatory and company standards
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and internal teams

Requirements

  • Proven experience handling commercial liability claims, including litigated CGL and BOP files
  • Strong coverage analysis and decision‑making skills in complex, fast‑paced environments
  • JD preferred, or a bachelor’s degree with demonstrated success adjusting litigated liability claims
  • Active TX All Lines License, or willingness to obtain one
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized, tech‑savvy, and able to manage competing priorities effectively
