Rex.zone is hiring remote software engineers aligned to India-based talent to build, test, and ship production systems that support AI/ML training workflows such as data labeling, RLHF evaluation, QA evaluation, prompt evaluation, and LLM training pipelines.

About The Role

You will design and implement software features for AI/ML data operations, including workflow tools that support feedback capture and evaluation. You will translate product requirements into maintainable services, improve reliability and observability, and ensure secure handling of datasets used in training pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build backend and frontend components for annotation and evaluation platforms
  • Develop REST APIs for task routing, reviewer assignment, and audit trails
  • Implement automated checks for training data quality and annotation guidelines compliance
  • Write unit and integration tests; maintain CI/CD pipelines; perform code reviews
  • Partner with product, QA, and data operations teams supporting NLP and computer vision workflows

Required Qualifications

  • Mid-Senior experience delivering production software in distributed teams
  • Strong coding skills (Python preferred) and familiarity with JavaScript for web tooling
  • Practical knowledge of Git workflows, code review, testing practices, and CI/CD
  • Experience building REST APIs and working with SQL databases
  • Ability to debug production issues and communicate clearly in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud services and containerized deployments experience
  • Familiarity with ML data workflows (data labeling, QA evaluation, RLHF, prompt evaluation)
  • Knowledge of observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing)
  • Exposure to NLP or computer vision pipelines (e.g., NER, content safety labeling)
