Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various aspects of construction projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the preparation of sites, including clearing debris
  • Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment as required on-site
  • Assisting tradespeople such as carpenters, bricklayers, and masons with their tasks
  • Mixing and handling materials such as cement, mortar, or concrete under supervision
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency
  • Following all health and safety regulations and procedures at all times
  • Operating basic tools and machinery as instructed by supervisors
  • Supporting the team in completing construction tasks within designated timeframes

Requirements

  • 2 year’s experience in construction, experience in assisting tradespeople
  • Knowledge of site safety rules
  • Ability to handle basic tools
  • Understanding of manual handling
  • First aid or health & safety awareness is a plus.
  • Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks for extended periods
  • Must speak English to a good degree
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom
  • A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to travel between sites is essential
