THE ROLE  

As Content Writer, you’ll translate compelling, attention-grabbing content that gets the key message across and inspires people to engage with a wide range of comms materials including annual reports, sustainability reports, governance reports, presentations, social media and board level documents.  

Working with our design, client services and sustainability teams on a mixture of projects, your main focus will be to write content in both English and Arabic. This role can be fast paced and demands a keen eye for structure, flow and accuracy so a good attention to detail is key. 

You will learn about brands including their tone of voice and how they like to communicate messaging to their audiences. You will be part of client briefing and reviewing meetings, making suggestions for to make content look it’s best.  

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Write and edit great quality copy in Arabic and English  

  • Work across the Emperor client services and creative teams  

  • Collaborate with clients to achieve their goals 

  • Understand how to best generate audience engagement for each clients needs  

  • Know how to apply brand and tone of voice principles 

  • Be able to think strategically about content 

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships 

What you’ll need to be successful in this role: 

  • Fluent in both Arabic and English and be able to write, read and speak both languages  

  • Background in copywriting, editing, journalism or publishing 

  • Confident working with content in different formats and mediums, and for different content inc reports, platforms and channels  

  • Flexible, adaptable style and approach 

  • Understanding of the business environment/industry in which Emperor operates 

  • Experience working in a fast paced, high-profile environment and organisation. Agency experience a bonus.
