Content Moderator for User-Generated Content

We are looking for detail-oriented, empathetic, and dedicated Content Moderators to review and manage user-generated content on our platform.

As a Content Moderator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our community guidelines are upheld and that users engage in a safe and respectful environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Review: Review usergenerated content to ensure compliance with the platform's community guidelines and policies.
  • Enforce Guidelines: Take appropriate action on content that violates guidelines, including issuing warnings, removing content, and escalating cases when necessary.
  • Sensitive Content Management: Work with potentially sensitive content in a thoughtful, respectful manner to maintain a safe environment for all users.
  • Appeals Review: Evaluate user appeals and assist in explaining decisions regarding content removal or account suspensions.
  • User Communication: Respond to user queries, explaining platform policies, and providing support for users in violation of guidelines.
  • Research and Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify emerging trends or issues in content moderation and help improve the community guidelines over time.

Required Skills:

  • Basic Understanding of

Content Guidelines:
Familiarity with general content moderation guidelines and community standards. Familiarity with general legal content requirements and understanding of niche terminologies.

  • Sensitivity and

Emotional Intelligence:
Ability to manage sensitive topics with care and maintain professionalism in all interactions.

  • Strong Research Skills: Ability to research, analyze, and understand evolving trends in user behavior and potential violations.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain content decisions to users.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to focus on the details and catch small violations that could otherwise go unnoticed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in content moderation, customer support, or community management.
  • Previous experience working with sensitive or NSFW content.
  • Anime enthusiast.
We're looking for someone who is available to work 40 hours a week.

Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
