Job Description:

Purpose and Accountability:

The main task of the successful candidate will be to track exposure and profitability for the L2A crude desk. The candidate will need to ensure that all desk reports are robust and that all physical and paper deals are properly reflected in the system.

More specifically, the candidate will have the following tasks:

Monitor physical books and paper exposures on a real time basis.

Maintain parallel validation tools to ensure accuracy of positions.

Perform daily analysis of profitability and prepare summary reports for team members.

Actively liaise with the Desk Analyst in London to ensure the exposure and PnL is accurate across the two locations.

Manage the PnL, exposure and reporting of Options and Trading Commodity Finance deals.

Ensure consistency on pricing and volumes of long-term supply contracts.

Perform daily cross-checks of agreed deal terms and Trading Systems entries (FED).

Support team members on required ad hoc reports related to business profitability and exposure.

Maintain critical events database for physical trading business.

Provide support and perform analysis to the traders and the GOCS team in clearing accruals and overdue.

Skills & Requirements:

We require an individual with proven track record of attention to detail, with excellent analytical skills and sound knowledge of Excel and Macros. Experience in a trading environment or the use of trading systems and risk management tools are ideal for this position. The successful candidate will also need to have good communication and relationship skills in order to extract the required amount of information from its various stakeholders (Traders, other analysts, etc.).
