Reporting to the Academic Impact Vice President, this partner operates within a matrix system and takes on a significant responsibility in leading academic data discussions within school support pods and with school leaders. The AIP offer strategies and solutions to enable internal and external partners achieve desired learner outcomes. As an academic expert, they work closely with the Service Design Partner, Academic Development Leader, Assessment & Accountability Director, Service Delivery Partners, and School Partners to the positively impact the overall educational experience.<br> <br><strong>Your Core Tasks & Responsibilities</strong><br> <br><strong>Collaboration and Strategy:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Work closely with the Design & Development Partner to identify and implement strategies for academic excellence.</li> <li>Collaborate with Academic Outcomes Teams, Service Delivery Partners and School Performance Partners to align coaching and development initiatives with instructional goals.</li> <li>Work closely with established standard operating procedures for Partner Schools and encourage use of evidence-based best practices.</li> <li>Contribute to the creation of comprehensive plans for school improvement.</li> </ul> <br><strong>Data-Driven Decision Making:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Partner with Pod Leader and Assessment Leaders to identify data-driven needs and solutions.</li> <li>Collaborate with Assessment & Accountability Director to identify data-driven solutions which inform coaching and development strategies.</li> <li>Monitor key performance indicators to assess the impact of coaching interventions.</li> </ul> <br><strong>Professional Development:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Stay abreast of educational trends and research to inform professional development content.</li> <li>Collaborate with Implementation Facilitators and Service Design Partner to identify needs and ensure data-driven professional learning experiences are delivered to school leaders.</li> </ul> <br><strong>Small Wins Team Collaboration:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Work closely with the P&T Small Wins Team to identify and implement small, impactful changes that contribute to overall school improvement.</li> <li>Provide support and guidance to school leaders in implementing small wins initiatives.</li> </ul> <br><strong>Feedback and Coaching:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Conduct regular observations and provide constructive feedback to school leaders.</li> <li>Implement coaching strategies to enhance leadership effectiveness.</li> <li>Collaborate with leaders to create personalized professional development plans.</li> </ul> <br><strong>Communication:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Establish and maintain effective communication channels with school leaders, Academic Outcomes Teams, Service Delivery Partners and School Performance Partners.</li> <li>Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement to relevant stakeholders.</li> </ul> <br><strong>Who You Are</strong><br> <ul> <li>5+ years proven leadership as Head of School, Principal, or equivalent with an advanced degree in Education, Leadership, or related field.</li> <li>Experience in virtual school leadership preferred.</li> <li>Strong data analysis skills to drive educational improvement.</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage teams and stakeholders.</li> <li>Skilled in designing and delivering professional development programs and knowledgeable about educational trends, best practices, and instructional strategies.</li> <li>Customer-focused: Advocates for customers (internal and external), building strong relationships to enhance their experience and outcomes.</li> <li>Influential leader: Motivates and guides others across teams to achieve customer and company goals.</li> <li>Collaborative: Thrives in a matrix environment, solving problems with peers while fostering trust and support.</li> <li>Accountable: Takes ownership of tasks, completes them timely and effectively, and proactively seeks new opportunities.</li> </ul> <br><strong>Travel Requirement</strong><br> <br>This position requires occasional travel, including attendance at annual winter and summer conferences and 4-6 school visits per year.<br> <br>Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:<br> <br>The minimum full-time salary range is between $110,000 to $130,000.<br> <br>This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program, and information on benefits offered is here.<br> <br>Applications will be accepted through July 21, 2025.
