Meet the team: 

The EMEA Business Transformation & PMO Director is a senior strategic leader responsible for driving large-scale transformation across the EMEA region. This role leads both the Business Process Improvement and Project Management functions, ensuring a cohesive, structured, and impactful approach to regional transformation efforts. 

This leader partners closely with the leadership of EMEA Commercial and Business Operations functions to accelerate operational excellence, enhance scalability, streamline processes, and support the execution of the commercial strategy. The Business Transformation & PMO Director will architect the transformation roadmap, govern key strategic initiatives, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. 

Where you come in: 

  • Develop, maintain, and execute the EMEA business transformation strategy aligned with the Commercial organization’s goals and global priorities

  • Act as a strategic advisor to EMEA leadership, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency, growth enablement, and capability building

  • Embed customer-centric mindset, ensuring processes, system, and capability decisions reflect customer needs

  • Champion continuous improvement, scalability, and excellence across all markets

  • Drive a coordinated transformation agenda across markets, functions, and business units

  • Lead the EMEA PMO to ensure consistent governance, reporting, prioritization, and delivery of strategic programs

  • Establish and maintain program management frameworks, steering committee processes, KPIs, and dashboards

  • Monitor project health and risk, intervening where required to ensure successful delivery

  • Oversee the design, optimization, and harmonization of end‑to‑end business processes across EMEA

  • Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and/or continuous improvement methodologies

  • Partner with business owners to define and implement process standards, capability-building programs, and automation opportunities

  • Build strong partnerships with commercial leaders, cross-functional teams, and country leadership to ensure alignment and adoption of transformation initiatives

  • Communicate progress, impacts, and recommendations to senior executives and global stakeholders

  • Influence change through credibility, data-driven insights, and strong leadership presence

  • Lead change management initiatives to support adoption of new processes, systems, and operating models

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational discipline, and cross-functional collaboration

  • Coach leaders and teams on transformation readiness, mindset, and behaviors

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the BPI and PMO teams, setting clear objectives, expectations, and development plans

  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and engaged team environment.

 

What makes you successful: 

  • Strong background in leading regional or multi-country transformations in a commercial or operational environment

  • Proven success managing complex, cross-functional programs at scale

  • Expertise in process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)

  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams

  • Experience working in multinational organizations within EMEA

  • Background in commercial operations, sales operations, or go-to-market transformation

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or process excellence (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt).

Travel required: 15-25%

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of industry experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Transformation, Business Process Improvement, PMO leadership, or related fields

  • 9+ years of successful management experience in relevant industry.

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically within an hour’s commute). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site, a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex/Hybrid workplace option
