Escrow Coordinator

About the position

As an Escrow Coordinator, you will support the finance and escrow functions by ensuring accurate disbursements, balanced ledgers, and smooth closing processes. You will work closely with the closing team, handle financial transactions, and contribute to projects that strengthen operational efficiency. This role requires a hybrid work arrangement with up to three scheduled days per week at our Frisco, TX office. The position operates on a 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM CT schedule to support all markets. About the role Verify, set up, and release wire transfers Print and mail checks for settlement disbursements Collaborate with the closing department to ensure all escrow tasks are completed Allocate, account for, and post deposits to transaction ledgers Properly assign all debits and credits within the system Balance disbursement ledgers and resolve discrepancies Assist with preparing bills, invoices, and other payables Participate in finance and escrow department projects Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements (if applicable)

Responsibilities

  • Verify, set up, and release wire transfers
  • Print and mail checks for settlement disbursements
  • Collaborate with the closing department to ensure all escrow tasks are completed
  • Allocate, account for, and post deposits to transaction ledgers
  • Properly assign all debits and credits within the system
  • Balance disbursement ledgers and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with preparing bills, invoices, and other payables
  • Participate in finance and escrow department projects
  • Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements (if applicable)

Requirements

  • Experience in finance, accounting, or equivalent background that demonstrates strong financial acumen
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of comfort with technology; quick to learn new tools and systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work collaboratively

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in title and escrow is helpful but not required
  • Familiarity with Qualia is a plus
  • Prior experience in a financial, administrative, or operational environment
  • Background working with ledgers, disbursements, or similar transactional workflows
