About the Global Merchant & Network Services (GM&NS) Pricing Group The GM&NS Pricing Group at arenaflex is responsible for driving revenue from the discount business, one of our largest revenue sources. This team works closely with various business partners to determine the best rates that encourage merchants to accept arenaflex while improving service and merchant satisfaction. By applying customer-centric pricing principles, flexible pricing architectures, and innovative pricing solutions, we aim to drive GMS revenue and profit growth. Job Responsibilities As a Financial Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for: Creating Canadian forecasts for businesses reducing revenue, tracking monthly performance against forecast, and identifying areas of change. You will also create a list of discounted business income for the Canadian region. Driving the design and development process across multiple regional arenaflex groups for all relevant reporting and forecasting activities. Supporting external audits, including investigation of issues discovered, communicating with local value teams managing vendor relationships to discuss issues and work to resolve them. Performing ad hoc data analysis to measure discount rates and gain insights. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: More than two years of experience in financial assistance or business payment and/or other finances. A bachelor's degree. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, and business principles. Proficiency in Excel and attention to detail. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create best-in-class financial models and maximize value from large amounts of financial information. Knowledge of programming languages (such as SAS/SQL) is required. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Relationship management and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence others in situations where they may have different goals. A strong work ethic with a passion for winning and focus on excellence in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
