About the Role: Procurement Manager (Remote) We are seeking an experienced and skilled Procurement Manager to join our growing Strategic Procurement team. As a Procurement Manager, you will play a critical role in managing commodities and categories worldwide, including goods and services that support our company and customers. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing performance aspects of major contracts and subcontracts, and driving business growth through strategic sourcing, supply chain optimization, and contract management. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement category strategies to meet business and customer requirements Manage performance aspects of major contracts and subcontracts, including supplier contracting and negotiations, supplier qualification, and establishing quality processes Analyze industry trends and procurement performance to support supply category management Collaborate with internal and external partners to meet procurement objectives Meet with senior members of the team to learn about business priorities and stay up-to-date on industry developments Utilize supply chain and financial modeling tools to drive business decisions Review performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed Required Skills and Experience: To be successful in this role, you will need: A first-level university degree or equivalent experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field Typically 2-4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a strong understanding of procurement processes, industry, and suppliers Good knowledge and use of procurement tools and applications, such as SAP, with a strong preference for experience with SAP S/4HANA Good business application skills, including arenaflex Excel and arenaflex PowerPoint, and basic supply chain modeling skills Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and drive business decisions Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present to senior members of the team and external partners A growth mindset, with a strong desire to learn and develop new skills and knowledge Personal Attributes: We are looking for a candidate who is: A strong team player, with the ability to work effectively within an international team across different time zones Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency and a focus on delivering results Passionate about procurement and supply chain management, with a desire to drive business growth and improvement Able to think strategically, with a strong understanding of the business and industry Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits: At SUSE, we are committed to empowering our employees to be bold and drive their careers to create the future they want.
