In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessel while providing exceptional service onboard. Your expertise in rigging, mechanical systems, and hospitality will be essential to maintaining smooth sailing and delivering a memorable experience for all passengers and crew. Duties

  • Assist with rigging operations to secure cargo, sails, and equipment safely during voyages
  • Perform routine mechanical inspections and maintenance on ship systems to ensure optimal functionality
  • Prepare and serve meals, demonstrating cooking skills that meet safety and quality standards
  • Provide outstanding customer service to passengers, addressing their needs with professionalism and warmth
  • Maintain cleanliness and hospitality standards in crew quarters, dining areas, and passenger spaces
  • Support navigation and safety procedures by following established protocols and assisting with emergency drills
  • Collaborate with the crew to handle cargo loading/unloading, ensuring proper weight distribution and security

Skills

  • Proficiency in rigging techniques for securing cargo and sails efficiently
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to maritime equipment and ship systems
