Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Florist to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Florist in our organization, you will create stunning floral arrangements, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to the beauty and ambiance of our clients' special occasions and everyday lives.

  • Design and create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, corporate events, and personal celebrations
  • Consult with customers to understand their needs and preferences, offering expert advice on flower selection and arrangement styles
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper care and handling of flowers and plants
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and process deliveries of fresh flowers and related products
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and assist with basic administrative tasks
  • Stay up-to-date with current floral design trends and techniques
  • Collaborate with team members to meet customer demands and maintain high-quality standards
  • Prepare custom orders and ensure timely delivery of floral arrangements

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in floral design or a related field
  • Proven ability to create a wide range of floral arrangements, from classic to contemporary styles
  • Strong knowledge of various flower types, seasonal availability, and care requirements
  • Excellent color theory skills and a keen eye for aesthetics
  • Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to understand and meet client needs
  • Proficiency in using floral design tools and equipment
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with POS systems and inventory management software
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Floral design certification preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
  • Familiarity with local and international floral industry trends and practices
