Description: 6th Man Ventures is a thesis-driven investment Fund deploying in the most tenacious and disruptive founders across the global crypto landscape. We are expanding our world-class team and looking to add an analyst or associate focused on frontier tech related investments, including AI, compute, energy, robotics, and adjacent infrastructure. As an investor you will be an active member of the investment team, helping to drive research, sourcing, strategy, and investment decisions alongside our partnership. This pivotal role will help surface novel research and new insights, meet with teams, perform investment diligence, and write internal/external memos. You will be a key member of the team, gain hands-on exposure to the next generation of great founders, while helping shape our investment strategy. We value deep analytical rigor, intuition, and a relentless curiosity over traditional credentials, though candidates should have direct experience investing, researching, or building in AI or other frontier areas. Ideal candidates are passionate about crypto and blockchain and naturally reason from first-principles. You’ll share your insights across our firm, portfolio founders, and the broader crypto community, amplifying 6th Man’s thought leadership and value add to key stakeholders. Core Responsibilities: • Research and identify compelling AI, energy, infrastructure, robotics, and related advances and investment opportunities and present to the broader investment team • Source new investment opportunities, perform diligence, and assist in managing existing portfolio companies • Author research pieces on relevant crypto trends and companies • Be an active contributor to the crypto community by participating in events and assisting in developing the 6th Man brand Qualities & Capabilities: • Direct experience building, investing in, or researching AI, energy, or other frontier tech verticals with interest in crypto • Strong written and analytical capabilities • Curiosity and open-mindedness • Comfort working independently in a remote environment while contributing to investment and Fund activities • High degree of agency • Comfortable with a variety of backgrounds, but ideally you have experience working with lean teams in high growth, rapidly evolving environments • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally for presentations, meetings and conferences • Ideally have a technical background (even if self-taught) and active crypto network or project contributions Apply tot his job
