Global Strategic Account Manager

<p>As the Global Strategic Account Manager , you will ensure the business and financial goals are reached by working with all levels of the customer's organization to specify PPG Products across programs.</p><p><b>You will work remotely from Austin, Tx area and can be eligible for relocation support.</b></p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Interact with customer staff to ensure PPG is specified on new programs</li><li>Communicate customer needs to PPG account project teams and ensure all programs are commercialized</li><li>Mobilize PPG resources to support customer's programs working with the regional Account Managers, technical managers and technical service managers in Asia, Europe and the Americas.</li><li>Produce regular reports concerning the account activities to the global PPG Electronic Materials team</li><li>Provide feedback to our customer's management concerning PPG specified program progress at multiple applicators</li><li>Promote PPG's brand, image and technologies to our customers</li><li>Understand future technology and how it applies to our customers</li><li>Understand PPG's product portfolio and benefits to ensure value selling</li><li>Understand the competitive landscape and anticipate future gaps to improve PPG's market position</li><li>Manage budgets to meet financial commitments</li><li>Travel up to 20% including international</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Degree in business/marketing, chemistry or related field</li><li>3 years experience in the coatings industry</li><li>Experience with electronic materials</li><li>Experience in project management with customer focus</li><li>Spoken and written fluency in English is required</li><li>International travel 20%</li></ul><p style="text-align:left">PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
