Grab & Go Clerk (Overnight Shift 10pm-6:30am)

The Grab & Go Clerk overnight shift is a newly introduced position responsible for preparing, stocking, and maintaining fresh, ready-to-eat items for quick and convenient customer purchases. This role works closely with the Kitchen Manager and kitchen team to ensure products meet quality, food safety, and presentation standards, while keeping the Grab & Go area clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the day. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced food service environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and package Grab & Go items such as salads, sandwiches, sides, and ready-to-eat meals following store recipes and portion guidelines
  • Label all products accurately, including ingredients, allergens, dates, and pricing
  • Stock and rotate all packaged items, ensuring shelves remain full, clean, and visually appealing
  • Monitor product quality, freshness, and expiration dates; remove and report any out-of-date or damaged items
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, following all food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assist with basic prep tasks such as slicing, mixing, assembling, and weighing ingredients
  • Provide courteous and efficient customer service when answering questions or locating items
  • Support deli team during busy periods with light duties as needed (e.g., restocking supplies, organizing display cases)


Qualifications
  • Prior food handling or retail experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-30 lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Weekend and holiday availability may be required
  • Must be able to work the overnight hours of 10pm-6:30am
