Home Staging & Social Media Coordinator (Part-Time)

Job Description

We are seeking a creative, organized, and energetic team member to join our real estate team in a unique hybrid role focused on home staging and social media content creation.

This position combines hands-on physical staging work with creative marketing responsibilities and offers the opportunity to help bring homes to life while showcasing our work through engaging social media content.

The role is part-time with flexible hours (approximately 12–25 hours per week) depending on staging projects scheduled that week.

What You'll Do

Home Staging & Design

This is a very hands-on and physical role and will make up a significant portion of the position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with staging homes for sale across the Charlotte area
  • Loading and unloading staging items from our staging van
  • Moving furniture, rugs, artwork, décor, and staging accessories into homes
  • Designing and executing staging plans with direction from the team lead
  • Arranging furniture and décor to highlight a home's best features
  • Assisting with staging installation and destaging after homes sell
  • Organizing and maintaining staging inventory and storage areas
  • Cleaning, repairing, and preparing staging items for future projects
  • Shopping for new staging inventory and décor when needed
  • Assisting with minor home preparation tasks during staging projects

Important:
Staging days are physically demanding. This role regularly involves:

  • Lifting furniture and heavy staging bins
  • Carrying items up and down stairs
  • Being on your feet most of the day
  • Moving furniture throughout homes

Candidates must be comfortable with physical work and lifting at least 50 lbs.

Social Media & Content Creation

We are looking for someone who enjoys social media and can help us bring our online presence back to life.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and managing a social media content calendar
  • Shooting photo and video content at listings, staging projects, and team activities
  • Editing photos and videos for social media posts
  • Designing graphics and marketing materials using Canva
  • Creating and posting content on Instagram and Facebook
  • Writing captions and stories for posts
  • Editing video content using CapCut or similar tools
  • Interacting with other accounts and engaging with our online audience
  • Staying current with social media trends and suggesting new ideas

Schedule & Hours

This is a part-time position with flexible hours that vary depending on staging projects.

Typical weekly hours range from:

12–25 hours per week

Weeks with staging projects will typically require more hours, while weeks without staging projects will focus on:

  • organizing staging inventory
  • preparing for future staging installs
  • social media and marketing tasks

Most work occurs Monday–Friday between 8 AM and 6 PM, with very rare evening or weekend hours.

Location & Travel

This role will work primarily from our home office in Northeast Charlotte.

Additional locations include:

  • Our staging warehouse in Huntersville
  • Staging projects across the greater Charlotte area

Driving throughout Charlotte will be a regular part of this role.

A monthly gas stipend will be provided.

Candidates must have:

  • A valid driver's license
  • A clean driving record
  • Comfort driving our staging moving van

Work Environment

We are a small, collaborative team and are looking for someone who wants to grow with us long-term.

Our home office also includes a friendly dog, so ideal candidates should be comfortable with dogs and the occasional puppy greeting.

Compensation

$20–$25 per hour depending on experience
Monthly gas stipend provided
