HR Advisor - Solihull (Part-Time, Remote)

<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>This is a flexible, part-time position working <strong>12–16 hours per week</strong>, spread across <strong>3–4 days (Mon–Thurs)</strong>. The role is primarily remote, but because our clients are based across the West Midlands, you’ll need to live <strong>within 1 hour of B90 (Shirley)</strong> for the occasional in-person meeting if needed.</p><p><br></p><p>You’ll be supporting our Lead Consultant with day-to-day client work and helping ensure our clients feel supported, informed, and in safe hands.</p><p><br></p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><p>HR Support & Advice</p><ul><li>Provide practical HR advice to small business clients</li><li>Handle first-line HR queries</li><li>Identify when issues need escalating to the Lead Consultant</li></ul><p><br></p><p>HR Documentation</p><ul><li>Draft and update employee handbooks</li><li>Produce HR letters (e.g., invite letters, outcomes, confirmations)</li><li>Support with policy development and general HR documentation</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Case Management & Administration</p><ul><li>Including filing, maintaining the CRM, process documentation</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Client Relationships</p><ul><li>Conduct check-in calls with retained clients</li><li>Support onboarding of new clients where needed</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Continuous Improvement</p><ul><li>Spot opportunities to streamline processes</li><li>Suggest ways we can enhance the client experience</li><li>Contribute ideas for improving our HR templates and toolkits</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>What we're looking for</strong><p>You will thrive in this role if you are:</p><ul><li>Competent in generalist HR and are confident in applying this to a variety of organisations</li><li>Someone who enjoys building strong relationships with small-business clients</li><li>Highly organised with excellent attention to detail</li><li>Comfortable working remotely and managing your own workload</li><li>Proactive and able to identify when something needs escalating</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Apply with your CV at https://bitesizehr.livevacancies.co.uk/#/job/details/9</strong></p>
