The Commercial Lines Intern will function as a member of the Commercial Insurance team and gain hands-on experience in commercial insurance operations. This role will focus on insurance operations, risk management, and client account management while interacting with commercial insurance professionals and business units. The Commercial Lines Intern will work with senior members of the team and learn how commercial insurance products, client solutions, and account management processes are implemented and managed. This will provide hands-on experience in developing fundamental business and analytical skills and exploring potential career paths with a commercial insurance focus. Objectives of this Role Job shadow commercial insurance professionals and participate in day-to-day operations Contribute to client account management, policy analysis, and risk assessment activities Learn about commercial insurance products, coverages, and industry best practices Assist in development of client solutions and participate in account management improvements Support market research and financial modeling projects Learn to gather and analyze key business metrics and client data Complete weekly assignments focused on insurance operations, risk management, and client account management Complete a group "capstone" project with fellow interns Other duties as assigned Daily and Weekly Responsibilities Participate in structured, week-by-week curriculum including professional development workshops Shadow commercial insurance professionals and assist with client account activities Support policy analysis, financial modeling, market research, and client solutions projects Communicate with stakeholders and team members on client-related initiatives Contribute to weekly reporting and group discussions Attend mentorship sessions and networking events with industry leaders Participate in field trips, volunteer activities, and social events Program Details Location: Hybrid from one of our local offices (NJ, MA, or NY) Position Type: Paid full-time hourly internship Dates: Summer 2026 Duration: 10-12 weeks What You'll Gain Real, hands-on experience in commercial insurance Exposure to meaningful projects where your ideas make an impact Professional development through workshops, mentorship, and networking Understanding of commercial insurance operations and client management Development of business acumen and analytical skills Opportunity for potential full-time role after graduation What you will bring to the role - College students with a Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 graduation.
