Duties and responsibilities related to the Human Resources Coordinator role

  • Being the first point of contact for the department, receiving external visitors and colleagues and handling all day to day queries.
  • Respond to all LONGE-HR emails and queries in a knowledgeable and timely manner.
  • Responsible for all HR related administration; letters for colleagues, references etc.
  • Responsible for the colleague’s employment journey, from preparing Starter pack including Letter of Employment to leaver documents.
  • Prepare status changes for transfers and promotions and input in the HR system.
  • Preparing colleague communication, via posters, electronic and social media.
  • Building good communication with all the departments and providing help and support to the HR team as required.
  • Maintaining and updating Human Resources systems, as applicable.
  • Checking colleagues eligibility and right to work.
  • Maintain a clean and organised office.
  • Order stationery as required.
  • Attending meetings and take minutes.
  • Follow up on probation periods of all colleagues.
  • Administer benefits such as Cycle to Work, Eye Test, Complimentary Nights etc.
  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly statistics, including the Headcount. 

About You

You have a strong interest in Human Resources within the hospitality industry, ideally supported by some prior HR exposure or relevant operational experience in a service-driven environment. Highly organised and adaptable, you are comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced hotel setting while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

With a genuine people-first mindset, you enjoy supporting team members across the employee lifecycle and contributing to a positive, engaged workplace culture. Professional, approachable, and discreet, you work collaboratively with leaders and colleagues, ensuring HR support is delivered with consistency, confidentiality, and care.
