Job description

The role will provide 3rd line infrastructure support for a range of ICT applications and systems and provide advice and guidance to enable Services to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery and respond to changing requirements.

Utilising a broad range of skills to assist with the resolution of a wide variety of technical issues.

Typically the role involves the use of MECM, Intune, Windows, Windows Server 2022 onwards, Active Directory, VMware, Azure Cloud Solutions, Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Backups and Recovery, Group Policy Management, PowerShell and Windows Updates services.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
