Invoicing Specialist - Part Time

At Combined Air, we keep commercial spaces comfortable and functional. Our field technicians are busy, and we need a sharp Invoicing Specialist to turn their hard work into accurate, professional billing. This isn’t just data entry—it’s the final, critical step in our service chain. We need someone who can spot a missing part on a work order and ensure our commercial clients receive clear, correct invoices every time.

Your Day-to-Day at Combined Air

  • The "Final Check": Review technician work orders, labor hours, and materials used to ensure everything aligns with our contracts.
  • Invoice Generation: High-volume processing of commercial invoices through our propriety CRM.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively reaching out to technicians or service managers when a work order doesn't "add up" to prevent billing errors.
  • Client Interface: Handling billing inquiries from our commercial partners with a professional, helpful "Combined Air" attitude.
  • Process Improvement: Spotting bottlenecks in our billing cycle and suggesting ways to get invoices out faster and more accurately.

What You Bring

  • Commercial Mindset: You understand that billing for a commercial service company involves more moving parts than a standard retail job.
  • Eagle-Eyed Accuracy: You take pride in a 0% error rate. You notice when a decimal point is off or a part number looks wrong.
  • Tech Comfort: You are proficient in Excel and have experience with service-based accounting software.
  • Pace: You enjoy a "busy" office. You’d rather have a full queue of invoices than sit around waiting for the phone to ring.
  • Reliability: Our cash flow depends on this role; we need someone we can count on to show up and own the process.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or commercial accounts receivable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication (you’ll be talking to both "techs in the truck" and "office managers").
  • Ability to work 16 hours per week with a consistent schedule.
