Education and Experience
- A Masters or Phd in an education setting is preferred
- Administration experience at either the Vice Principal, Principal or senior level
- American Curriculum experience
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Five years experience
- Must be female as per government regulation
-Preference for Middle East and UAE experience.
The Vice Principal serves as a member of the administrative team to assist in providing professional leadership to organize administer supervise, and evaluate a creative program. Perform a variety of administrative duties involved in certain aspects of school operations including academic oversight of Heads of Department, Academic Instruction, and Strategic Planning for Termly Assessments, reviewing mark distributions and gradebooks including checking students’ termly reports and end of year reports.
The school prefers experience of the American curriculum, but will consider other curriculum backgrounds as long as the cultural fit works and how teachers adapt to situations that demand strong differentiation skills, not only academically, but linguistically and culturally too. This is not a western expatrate school and caters mostly for local and Arab expatriate children. There is a gender separation after elementary.
