The Junior Data Analyst will serve as a foundational member of our analytics team, supporting data-informed decision-making across the organization. This entry-level role is perfect for a recent graduate eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world business challenges. The position involves assisting with the entire data lifecycle, from data collection and cleaning to basic analysis and visualization, all under the guidance of senior analysts. You will collaborate with various teams to help identify trends, answer business questions, and contribute to the delivery of actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques to support the creation of reports for business stakeholders.
  • Help identify and document trends or patterns in complex data sets under the supervision of senior analysts.
  • Support the development and implementation of data collection systems and other strategies to enhance data quality.
  • Acquire data from primary and secondary data sources and help maintain data systems.
  • Perform data cleaning and validation by reviewing reports and performance indicators to help correct data quality issues.
  • Work with senior team members to understand data structures and ensure they support analytical needs.
  • Assist in creating dashboards, charts, and reports using BI tools (like Tableau or Power BI) to visualize findings.
  • Help prepare presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with data analysis throughinternships, academic coursework, research or academic/capstone projectsis required.
  • A portfolio of academic or personal projects demonstrating the ability to analyze and derive insights from data is highly desirable.
  • Interim Secret clearance


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Solid understanding of and familiarity with SQL for querying datasets.
  • Academic or project experience with a programming language for data analysis, such as Python (with Pandas, NumPy) or R.
  • Familiarity with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) through coursework or personal projects.
  • A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
