Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Medical Student Remote ALevels/IB/GCSE Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. This role involves delivering personalised tutoring sessions remotely, focusing on medical-related subjects and exam preparation for ALevels, IB, and GCSE programmes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for teaching, and experience working with children or in special education settings. This paid position offers flexible hours to accommodate your schedule while making a meaningful impact on students’ educational journeys.

Duties

  • Deliver engaging and customised online tutoring sessions in medical sciences and related subjects for ALevels, IB, and GCSE students.
  • Develop tailored lesson plans that align with curriculum requirements and individual student needs.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support improvement.
  • Assist students in understanding complex concepts through clear explanations and visual aids.
  • Support students in exam preparation, including practice questions and revision strategies.
  • Maintain organised records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and areas for development.
  • Communicate effectively with students and parents or guardians regarding progress and any concerns.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and special educational needs where applicable.

Skills

  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably within medical sciences or related fields.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex topics clearly and effectively.
  • Experience working with children or in special education environments is advantageous.
