The Role

Isola is looking for passionate, high-energy Line Cooks and Pizza Chefs to join our kitchen for the 2026 summer season. Whether you’re a dough pro or a master of the sauté station, we want team members who take pride in every plate (and pie) that leaves the window.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our LBI kitchen, working with high-quality ingredients and professional-grade equipment to deliver a premium dining experience during the shore's busiest months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Station Mastery: Execute menu items with consistency and speed, whether managing the pizza oven, prep station, or the line.
  • Dough & Prep: (For Pizza Chefs) Maintain the integrity of our dough program, from stretching and topping to managing high-temperature bakes.
  • Kitchen Excellence: Adhere strictly to food safety, sanitation, and organization standards. Keep your station "Isola-clean" at all times.
  • Teamwork: Work in sync with the FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth service during high-volume rushes.
  • Efficiency: Minimize waste and maximize quality. We move fast, but we don't cut corners.

What We’re Looking For

  • The "LBI Hustle": You thrive in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment. Previous experience in high-volume or seasonal restaurants is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skill: Comfort working with high-heat ovens (wood-fired or gas) and a strong foundation in knife skills.
  • Reliability: We need you here for the full "shore season" (May through September).
  • Positive Attitude: A "can-do" mindset is essential when the dining room is full and the tickets are hanging.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
