Machine Learning Software Engineering Advisor

Job Description: • Write loosely coupled, readable, reusable and modular code • Ensure ongoing data quality by monitoring data to identify problems before they impact the business • Design and architect alternative solutions independently when to automate and when not to • Drive to simplify and reduce dependencies • Champion innovative ideas • Deliver enterprise or customer-facing applications in a variety of scenarios • Implement and deploy differing application solutions • Innovate outside of traditional architecture/software patterns when needed • Collaborate in a high-performing team environment, and an ability to influence and be influenced by others • Help distill complex ideas into an architectural and implementation plan, and then proving it out • Critically evaluate the trade-offs and implementation impacts of emerging vs. more established technologies Requirements: • 3+ years’ documented experience in a business intelligence or analytic development role on a variety of large-scale projects • Expertise in BigData and related technologies • Excellent Data analysis skills • Cloud certifications, and/or cloud development experience with developing applications or infrastructure on AWS • Knowledge of Apache Spark, distributed application development on spark using PySpark or Scala • Experience in development using scripting languages such as Python • DevOps, CICD development experience is a plus • Comfortable in configuring and using multiple operating systems (Mac/Windows/*nix) • Design and architecture expertise with AWS, Teradata, BI, and related ecosystem tools • Experience with disciplined software development lifecycle • Ability to communicate at various levels within large organizations • Knowledge of Big Data tool performance/tuning/measurement and usage criteria to drive appropriate tool selections and use • Experience with Health care information domains a plus • Experience working on advanced Big Data solutions is a plus • Expertise in designing business intelligence systems, dashboard reporting, and analytical reporting is a plus • Excellent communication skills and team collaboration skills • Experience with Healthcare domains is a plus • Advanced Degree (Master of Science or equivalent) in an engineering or quantitative discipline highly desirable Benefits: • Starting on day one of your employment, you’ll be offered several health-related benefits including medical, vision, dental, and well-being and behavioral health programs. • 401(k) • Company paid life insurance • Tuition reimbursement • A minimum of 18 days of paid time off per year • Paid holidays Apply tot his job
