<strong>Machine Operator - Setter</strong><br> Our client, a well-established Keighley manufacturer, is seeking a <strong>Machine Operator - Setter</strong> to join their supportive factory team. The role suits a motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable individual able to read production drawings and work across flexible shifts.<br> <br> This is an excellent opportunity to join a quality-driven company that invests in employees, offering a four-day week, competitive shift allowances, and opportunities to develop technical skills for a long-term career.<br> The role of <strong>Machine Operator - Setter</strong> you'll set up and operate machinery to produce products that meet customer specifications and quality standards within agreed timescales.<br> <br> <strong>Personal needs will be accommodated wherever possible, however there is a need to be flexible to work across the full range of shifts through Monday to Thursday.</strong><br> <ul> <li><strong>4.00am - 13.15pm </strong></li> <li><strong>14.45pm - 2.00am</strong></li> </ul> <strong>Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Set and operate machines using correct tooling</li> <li>Produce goods in line with works orders and quality standards</li> <li>Read and understand production drawings</li> <li>Identify/select correct wire as specified in drawings/works orders</li> <li>Carry out inspections and accurate product weighing</li> <li>Control specific tooling</li> <li>Liaise with Technical and Quality departments as required</li> <li>Any other duties which support the delivery of the company objectives</li> </ul> <strong>Skills and Experience</strong><br> <ul> <li>Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment</li> <li>Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment</li> <li>Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail</li> <li>Strong work ethic and positive attitude</li> <li>Flexible and reliable, able to work across different shift patterns</li> <li>Able to work independently and as part of a team</li> </ul> <strong>Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday (shift pattern above)</strong><br> <strong> Hourly rate: From £14.85 to £16.20 (including shift allowance)</strong><br> <br> 26 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays<br> Group pension scheme<br> Group profit share scheme<br> Health care cash plan and Employee Assistance Programme<br> Life assurance<br> For more information about this role apply now or contact Sally at Headway Recruitment.
