Maintenance Assistant - Part-time

Are you handy, dependable, and reliable? We're seeking a motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Claremont, NH. Responsibilities include general repairs, upkeep, and ensuring a safe and functional environment for all of our locations spanning Sullivan and lower Grafton counties. <P><STRONG>Responsibilities may include:</STRONG> </P><UL> <LI>Performing routine maintenance tasks such as painting, minor plumbing repairs. </LI><LI>Maintaining grounds and landscaping (if applicable). </LI><LI>Assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs. </LI><LI>Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of work areas. </LI><LI>Identifying and reporting maintenance needs or safety hazards. </LI><LI>Assisting with setting up and breaking down for events as needed. </LI><LI>Following safety procedures and protocols. </LI><LI>Other related duties as assigned. </LI></UL> <P><STRONG>Qualifications:</STRONG> </P><UL> <LI>A High School diploma or equivalent is necessary. </LI><LI>Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field is preferred. </LI><LI>Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. </LI><LI>Ability to follow instructions and work independently. </LI><LI>Strong problem-solving skills. </LI><LI>Excellent attention to detail. </LI><LI>Flexible with scheduling to meet regular and emergency agency needs. </LI><LI>Good communication skills. </LI><LI>Physical ability to perform required tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
