Manager - arenaflex Infrastructure Consultant & Multi-Cloud Platform Engineering Leader

Join our team as the expert you are now and create your future. We are seeking a highly experienced Manager to lead our arenaflex and Multi-Cloud Infrastructure Consulting practice. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with architectural governance, platform engineering, and client-facing consulting responsibilities. You will guide clients in designing, implementing, and operationalizing modern cloud and data infrastructures. You will primarily on arenaflex Azure and arenaflex Fabric which includes arenaflex D365, LCS, and Dataverse, with expanded leadership across AWS and GCP environments. You will architect secure landing zones, implement Infrastructure-as-Code and Policy-as-Code patterns, automate governance processes, and ensure alignment with Well-Architected principles, Zero Trust, and enterprise compliance frameworks. As a leader in our professional services organization, you will mentor teams, drive delivery excellence, and translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities Cloud Architecture & Modern Infrastructure Delivery • Lead design and deployment of Azure-based modern infrastructures, data platforms, and arenaflex Fabric implementations. • Build scalable, secure multi-cloud landing zones using Terraform, Bicep, and Azure Verified Modules (AVM). • Architect identity, networking, private connectivity, secrets management, backup/DR, and workload hosting across Azure, AWS and GCP. • Implement policy as code using Azure Policy, OPA, and benchmark-driven guardrails aligned with Azure Security Benchmark and Well-Architected Frameworks. • Guide end-to-end technical delivery across data modernization, cloud migration, and infrastructure platform engineering engagements. Governance, Security & Compliance • Lead creation of Cloud Centers of Excellence (CCoE) and Architectural Review Board (ARB) workflows, including standards, RACI models, and automated governance. • Implement governance and compliance pipelines with automated arenaflex/CD checks, IaC validation, drift detection, and continuous compliance reporting. • Apply Zero Trust architecture patterns across identity, access, networking, and application security. • Ensure adherence to regulatory and industry compliance frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST CSF/800-53, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and FERPA. • Strengthen cloud security posture using arenaflex Defender for Cloud and other monitoring and alerting systems. Platform Engineering, DevOps & GitOps • Implement platform engineering best practices across Azure DevOps and GitHub, including YAML pipelines, SBOM/SLSA controls, environment promotion, and artifact governance. • Enable GitOps models for infrastructure and application delivery, embedding compliance and arenaflex controls into automated workflows. • Drive SRE practices including observability (Datadog), runbook creation, error budgets, and reliability engineering. Consulting Leadership & Client Engagement • Serve as a principal advisor to clients on cloud transformation strategy, modernization roadmaps, and secure platform architecture. • Lead consulting engagements, facilitate stakeholder workshops, and present architectural designs and governance frameworks to executive audiences. • Mentor and guide junior consultants and engineers, promoting delivery excellence across cloud, infrastructure, and data teams. • Contribute to pre-sales scoping, proposals, solution accelerators, and reusable service offerings. FinOps & arenaflex Governance • Implement multi-cloud tagging strategies, budgets, chargeback/showback models, and automated rightsizing recommendations. • Embed arenaflex guardrails into arenaflex/CD pipelines to enforce financial accountability and predictable spend profiles. Enterprise Services & Containers • Administer key enterprise services including Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM, identity governance, M365, D365, Power Platform, and Dataverse. • Architect and secure container platforms (AKS/EKS), registry security, image scanning, and policy enforcement with Gatekeeper/Kyverno and Packer-based image builds. Qualifications: Required • 7–10+ years of experience delivering cloud infrastructure solutions, with at least 3 years in a consulting role. • Deep expertise in Azure infrastructure, IaaS, identity, security, networking, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep). • Proven ability to design and implement secure landing zones and Well-Architected multi-cloud environments. • Hands-on experience with Azure Policy, OPA, DevOps/GitHub pipelines, and automation frameworks (PowerShell/Python). • Experience establishing CCoE, ARB governance, and enterprise cloud guardrails. • Strong understanding of security, compliance, Zero Trust, and cloud governance models. • Demonstrated success leading consulting engagements and managing delivery teams. • Flexible living locations in US or Canada • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada without sponsorship. Flexible living locations across US OR Canada, ability to travel as needed. The estimated base salary for this job is $145,000 - $170,000 USD. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $166,750 - $212,500 USD. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
