Job Summary
Heat-Line is seeking an entry-level Marketing Specialist to support the creation, organization, and publication of technical product documentation and marketing materials. This role is ideal for a recent graduate (within the past 1–1.5 years) with strong graphic design and layout skills and an interest in technical and industrial products.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Create, format, and update technical documentation, including installation instructions, technical guides, and product support materials (English and French).
- Design and update marketing materials such as brochures, catalogues, product sheets, and sales support documents.
- Maintain document revision control, version tracking, and approval records.
- Upload and publish documents to company websites and internal file systems.
- Distribute updated materials to internal teams and external partners as required.
- Assist with marketing workshops, training sessions, and other marketing-related initiatives.
- Support marketing data imports, exports, and basic reporting.
- Provide general marketing coordination and administrative support.
Qualifications:
- Graduated within the past 1–1.5 years from a recognized post-secondary program in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong layout, typography, and document design skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple documents and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience with WordPress and/or HubSpot.
- Familiarity with technical documentation and/or industrial products.
- Familiarity with the plumbing and/or electrical industries is considered an asset.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
- Valid Police Check required.
Portfolio Requirement
Applicants must submit a PDF portfolio containing 8–10 examples of design work.
Work samples should include production-ready materials such as brochures, catalogues, product sheets, technical documents, or digital graphics.
Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be considered.
