Job Description:

In order to support our community as well as our complex mechanical projects, Airbus Robotics is looking to hire 2 Mechanical Engineering Summer Interns.

Job Duties

  • Design & Modeling: Create or modify CAD drawings and models (e.g., SolidWorks) for components, assemblies, or tooling.
  • Analysis & Testing: Perform calculations (torque, strength), conduct tests, analyze data, and document findings.
  • Support & Collaboration: Assist fellow co-working, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide general support in engineering, production or R&D.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical reports, create Bills of Materials (BOMs), and help maintain product documentation.
  • Troubleshooting: Help identify and resolve issues in manufacturing or with existing equipment. 

Qualifications

  • Education: Engineering
  • Experience: Internship
  • Technical skills: Execution, collaboration, problem solving skills
  • Basic Skills: Communication, time management and organization, critical thinking
  • 18 years of age, currently enrolled in related college program

Hourly rate based on candidate profile: $22.00-$28.00/hour
