Media Buyer

(Remote – U.S., Central or South America – Full-Time)

Own Paid Ads Execution Across Client Accounts — and Help Drive Our Own Growth

Websiteness is looking for a senior-level Paid Ads Manager / Media Buyer to primarily take full ownership of paid advertising across our client portfolio — and, as capacity allows, help run ads for Websiteness internally to drive client acquisition.

This role is for a true operator, not a specialist who only touches one piece of the puzzle. You’ll be fully responsible for strategy, copy, creatives, setup, optimization, and performance across multiple ad platforms. If you can run ads end-to-end, think in funnels and offers, and take full ownership of results - this role is for you.

Client Paid Ads Delivery

Own paid advertising performance across client accounts, including:

  • Google Ads
  • Meta Ads
  • Google Local Services Ads
  • Build and manage campaigns from strategy → launch → optimization
  • Write conversion-focused ad copy, headlines, hooks, and CTAs
  • Develop or direct ad creatives (static, video concepts, angles)
  • Perform keyword research, audience research, and competitor analysis
  • Manage budgets, pacing, bids, and scaling decisions
  • Continuously test and optimize:
    • Offers
    • Creatives
    • Copy
    • Targeting
  • Monitor performance daily and proactively address issues
  • QA tracking, conversions, pixels, and attribution
  • Provide clear performance summaries and insights to the internal team
  • Work closely with Project Managers to align ads with broader client strategy
Internal Growth (As Capacity Allows)

- Help plan, launch, and optimize paid ads for Websiteness to drive:

  • Client acquisition
  • Funnel testing
  • Apply direct-response and funnel thinking to improve conversion rates

You are not expected to be perfect at everything on day one - but you are expected to own outcomes and continuously improve performance.

❗ This is not an entry-level role.

You must be able to run paid ads independently and confidently.

Required
  • 2–4+ years experience managing paid ads for multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • 2–4+ years of hands‑on experience with:
    • Google Ads (Search-focused experience required)
    • Meta Ads
    • Google Local Services Ads (GLSA)
  • Proven experience auditing, fixing, and improving underperforming accounts
  • Comfortable managing budgets, pacing spend, and making scaling decisions
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Conversion tracking & attribution (platform vs GA vs CRM discrepancies)
    • Pixels, tags, and event setup
    • Funnels, landing pages, and lead flows
    • Offers, hooks, and messaging
  • Ability to identify whether performance issues are caused by:
    • Targeting
    • Creative
    • Offer
    • Landing page
    • Follow-up
  • Comfortable writing your own ad copy and directing creative angles
  • Ability to explain performance clearly to non-technical team members
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Ability to work autonomously and communicate clearly in a remote environment
Strong Plus (Not Required, But High Value)
  • Experience managing local or home-service advertising (concrete, contractors, trades, medical, etc.)
  • Experience diagnosing and fixing:
    • High CPL
    • Low lead quality
  • Experience with GoHighLevel, ClickUp, and Slack
  • Familiarity with Russell Brunson–style funnel thinking, including:
    • Offers
    • Hooks
    • Follow-up sequences

You should be comfortable taking over an existing ad account, identifying what’s broken within the first week, and confidently outlining what needs to change.

Compensation Structure (Important)

We offer two potential compensation structures, and will determine the best fit on a per-candidate basis based on experience, performance history, and preferred working style.

  • A straightforward salary-based compensation structure
    • Best suited for candidates who prefer stable, predictable income
    • Compensation level will be aligned with experience and demonstrated capability
  • Option 2: Capacity-Based / Per-Account Compensation
    • Compensation tied directly to the number and type of ad accounts managed (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, GLSA)
    • Includes a clearly defined minimum and maximum monthly compensation cap
    • Opportunity for increases as:
      • Performance improves
      • Scope of responsibility expands (including internal campaigns)
    • This structure allows:
      • Predictable costs for the company
      • Clear earning upside for high performers
      • Alignment between results, responsibility, and compensation

Final compensation structure and details will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview process.
