Medical Assistant or LPN

Do you enjoy helping people? Busy Dermatologist's office seeks a great medical assistant or LPN (licensed practical nurse). Individuals who are friendly, detail oriented and enjoy keeping busy will be a perfect match for this position. We are willing to train individuals without experience who are eager to learn.

Only candidates who are fully bilingual in English and Spanish will be considered for this position.

Opportunities for advancement based on performance. This is not the best position for individuals in school or planning to go back to school.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

- Verifies patient information by interviewing patients.

- Records medical histories and confirms purpose of visits.

- Reports patients history and saves doctor's time by helping with office procedures such as chemical peels, laser hair removal and cosmetic procedures.

Other duties include maintaining medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential.

Counsels patients on doctor's prescriptions and orders. Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.

Compensation: $21 per hour + commission and overtime
