We serve a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. We are currently seeking a well-organized and caring Front Desk Representative to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities: Greet and welcome patients and visitors, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere Register patients by accurately collecting and verifying personal and insurance information Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar effectively Answer incoming calls and address inquiries, providing accurate and helpful information Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers, both internally and externally Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for medical services Collect co-payments and process patient payments accurately Maintain electronic medical records (EMRs) and ensure data integrity Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and minimal wait times Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, faxing, and organizing documents Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus Proven experience as a Front Desk Representative or in a similar role within a healthcare setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance billing, and coding procedures Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and effectively resolve conflicts Salary and Benefits: $33,000-$40,000/year + quarterly performance bonus Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans Paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and holidays Employee assistance programs for personal and family well-being Employee discounts on various services and products Join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.
