THG Beauty's breadth of relationships is unique to the beauty market; it engages with brands as a retailer, a brand owner, and a product developer and manufacturer, making it the industry's digital strategic leader. **Job Synopsis** The Merchandising and Supply Chain team are responsible for the processes and materials behind the manufacture and distribution of the goods that THG creates and sells. The work the team does is critical in ensuring the business is competitive in the market. The Merchandising Admin Assistant will support the team with key administrative tasks as well as purchase order raising and managing the delivery schedule which includes chasing and tracking of orders to ensure goods are delivered in the agreed lead time. As **_Merchandising Admin Assistant_**, you'll: - Manage end to end Purchase Order process with long term focus on reaching optimum on site stock availability; ensuring that all orders are on track for on time delivery through maintenance of the team delivery schedule. - Escalate and highlight critical path opportunities or concerns to line manager. - Be responsible for daily supplier communication regarding orders placed and upcoming deliveries. Updating the system with order feedback and amendments. - Review and resolving inbound issues with Supply and Warehouse teams; liaising with suppliers and buyers to resolve queries. - Attend brand meetings when required and build strong influential relationships. - Build collaborative working relationships with buying counterpart working towards department strategy. - Support the Merchandiser and Head of Merchandising with excel reporting and preparation, analysis, data entry and general administrative duties. - Look at heavy system usage across various platforms; ranging from PO raising, completing amendments and report distribution. **What skills and experience do I need for this role?** - Organised & self-motivated, works well on their own initiative yet is also seen as a key team player. - An interest and passion for Beauty. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Good administrative skills. - Quickly identifies issues, focusing on solutions. - Influences and communicates confidently.
