Job Overview

The Merchant Finance Relationship Officer plays a vital role in driving Deem's growth strategy by fostering long-term, sustainable relationships with corporate clients, particularly within the Micro and SME segments across the UAE.

Acting as a trusted advisor, the Relationship Officer will consult business clients on high-ticket business loans and Point-of-Sale (POS) financing solutions to help unlock their business potential.

This is a highly customer-facing role requiring strong knowledge of the SME ecosystem, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to offer tailored credit solutions.

Job Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development

Achieve and exceed monthly Merchant Finance/POS lending
targets.
Identify and acquire new clients through cold calling, referrals, and business networking.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Conduct in-depth financial needs analysis and propose suitable lending solutions.
Negotiate loan terms and close profitable deals aligned with Deem's credit policy.
Actively cross-sell Deem's other financial products and services.

Customer Experience
Deliver outstanding, customer-first service with a focus on retention and satisfaction.
Act as a single point of contact for all client interactions during pre-sales, onboarding, and post-sales stages.
Handle customer queries and complaints efficiently, ensuring resolution within agreed timelines.
Create a 'Wow' factor in every interaction to elevate client loyalty.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in sales/business development, with at least 1 year in POS/SME/business lending or merchant acquisition.
Prior UAE market experience is preferred.
UAE driving license is an added advantage.
