Job Description : NDT Technician Position Title: NDT Technician (In-service / Fabrication / Project Inspection) Number of Vacancies : 09 Experience Minimum 3 years relevant NDT experience. Location : Panipat Job Purpose To carry out and/or witness Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities and support inspection of static equipment during in-service, fabrication, and project stages, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, procedures, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform and/or witness NDT activities such as UT, RT, PT, MT, VT (as applicable) for static equipment. Carry out/witness inspection activities during in-service, fabrication, erection, and pre-commissioning stages. Inspect and support quality verification for piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and other static equipment. Verify NDT techniques, procedures, calibration, consumables, and equipment readiness prior to execution. Review and validate NDT reports, readings, and results; identify non-conformities and support corrective actions. Ensure compliance with applicable project specifications, QA/QC plans, ITPs, and industry standards. Coordinate with site QA/QC, contractors, and third-party agencies for smooth execution and documentation closure. Maintain inspection records, test packs, and final dossiers as per project/document control requirements. Support audits, tool-box talks, and enforce protected work practices during NDT operations. Industry Exposure (Required) Experience in static equipment NDT Technicians at one or more of the following: Petroleum refineries Petrochemical & natural gas installations Process chemical plants Nuclear / thermal power plants Qualification & Certification (Preferred / As applicable) Diploma/ITI/Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent technical qualification (not mandatory ) . ASNT/PCN/ISO 9712 Level II in relevant methods (UT/RT/PT/MT/VT) preferred; Awareness of relevant codes/standards (e.g., ASME, API, ASTM). Skills & Competencies Solid understanding of NDT principles and static equipment inspection practices. Good documentation, reporting, and coordination skills. Solid safety mindset; familiarity with work permits, radiation safety (for RT), and site HSE requirements.
