Role Overview


M&D Transportation, LLC is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious driver to transport wholesale goods between distribution centers and customer locations. This position requires a professional driver with a strong commitment to regulatory compliance, safety, and punctuality.


Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company-owned vehicles to transport wholesale goods on designated routes.
  • Ensure all loads are secured and handled with care to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Adhere to all Federal and State motor vehicle regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, vehicle inspections, and incident reports.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics personnel regarding delivery status, delays, or operational concerns.
  • Assist with minor vehicle troubleshooting and report maintenance needs promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with temperature-controlled transport requirements when applicable.
  • Uphold M&D Transportation’s commitment to safety, customer service, and reliability.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of nine (9) years of experience as a driver, preferably in delivery operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Federal and State motor vehicle regulations, safety protocols, and commercial vehicle operation.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling sensitive cargo is a plus.

Compensation

  • Starting pay is $18 per hour but can vary based on experience.

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, some Saturdays. Route begins at 5:00am
