Transporting documents, packages, and other items to and from the company office and clients or customers.

This includes picking up and dropping off items within a designated delivery zone.

Loading and unloading items from your delivery vehicle and ensuring they are securely stored for transportation.

This requires physical ability and stamina to move heavier items.

Planning and optimizing delivery routes to fulfill all delivery obligations in an efficient manner.

You will need to consider factors like traffic and weather conditions to determine the most effective routes.

Maintaining detailed records of all deliveries, pickups, and other dispatch activities.

This includes obtaining signatures from clients upon delivery and pickup.

Records must be accurately logged for accountability and billing purposes.

Ensuring delivery vehicles are kept clean and in working order.

This includes performing basic maintenance checks and refueling vehicles as needed to avoid disruptions to delivery schedules.

Providing excellent customer service to clients.

This means being courteous, professional, and able to address any questions or concerns from clients regarding deliveries or pickups.

Complying with all traffic laws and safety procedures to ensure deliveries are made on time without incident.

Safe driving and operating standards must be followed to prevent injury or damage.

Job Requirement

Hold a valid Class 3 driving license.

Familiar with Singapore road and good driving track record.

Must have Technical Proficiency such as able to navigate using maps or GPS to efficiently complete deliveries.

You should be comfortable operating a motor vehicle for extended periods of time in various weather and traffic conditions.

Ensure the vehicle is well maintained and meet all safety requirements.

Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting skills are also important.
